George Dalrymple Obituary
George Rising Dalrymple passed away peacefully at his home in Suffield, CT on Saturday July 20, 2024, at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved wife (Jane Kosinski Dalrymple) of 70 years, son George and his partner Nicki Duda of West Suffield, son Ray and his fiancé Jennifer Marvin of Suffield and son Jim and wife Loretta of Charlotte, NC, and sister Dianne Mitchell of Edgewater, FL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Jamie, John, Kari, Kyle, Julia and two great grandchildren Maeve & Zoe and several nieces and nephews. George was a graduate of WNEC with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration. He worked for Combustion Engineering as a Project Manager of the engineering, construction and testing of fossil fueled power plants across the United States, Europe and South Asia. He finished out his working career at Dexter Corporation as the Plant Engineer. He loved a good game of cribbage, reading Sci-fi books and spending time in New Smyrna Beach, FLA where he owned a second home. He'll be greatly missed by friends and family.
