George W. Darche

George W. Darche, age 70, of Hopedale and formerly of Florida and New Jersey, passed away in his home on June 4th after a period of declining of health.
George was born on April 11, 1952, in Orange, NJ to the late George R. and Pearl W. (Kehoe) Darche.
Over the years, through the support of the Ledges, George had some part time work with several retail establishments in the Hopedale area.
He loved baseball, was an avid parishioner at Sacred Heart, Hopedale and he would love to talk about baseball, current events and some politics
George is survived by his siblings: Richard Darche and his wife Virginia of Basking Ridge, NJ and Dianne Dowling and her husband John of Chatham; his nieces and nephews: Christine Yawger and her husband Andrew, Richard J. Darche, Michael K. Darche, Matthew P. Darche, Patrick J. Darche, Melissa Mack and her husband Craig of Wellesley Hills, Timothy Dowling and his wife Lily of CA, Michael Dowling and his wife Heather of CA and Megan Mead her husband Timothy of Needham; great nieces and nephews: Colin, Ryan, Madison Yawger, Caroline, Jacqueline, Madison and Grace Mack and Ava, Harper and Paige Mead.
The family would like to extend deep gratitude to The Ledges in Hopedale, where George lived for 35 years, and he received excellent care, attention and love.
A calling hour for George will be held on Monday, June 13,2022 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale.
Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
