George Ditta

George Joseph Ditta passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Janet Massey Ditta for 51 years. Father of George J. Ditta II (Carmen), Gregory M. Ditta (Tammy) and Lisa D. Schexnayder (Brad). Son of the late Roselino and Mary Ditta. Brother of Roland Ditta and Mary Ann Saccone (Chris). Grandfather of Nicholas, William, Jordan, Marleigh, Julia, Ashlyn, Jaidyn, and Kylee. Uncle of Marisa Saccone. Also survived by a host of cousins and dear friends with whom he loved to spend time. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation, 7151 N.
