George ‘Chris’ Dobrin, 67, of Franklin, TN, passed away on June 6, 2024 in Nashville after a brief illness.
Chris was born in Akron, Ohio to Evie and George Dobrin on March 31, 1957. After graduating from The Ohio State University, he joined Procter & Gamble where he worked as an Engineer for 28 years. Chris and Linda were married for 27 years. They lived in Cincinnati until moving to the Nashville area upon retirement. Chris was an avid Scuba Diver and enjoyed vacationing both at the beach and Disney World.
Chris is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Jen (Kyle) Day; son, Ryan (Meghan); brother, Mark; mother, Evie; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Chris is preceded in death by his father, George.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM followed by a Service at 1:00 PM. Both the Visitation and Service will take place at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Williamson County Animal Shelter or Meals on Wheels, both in Franklin, TN, where he enjoyed volunteering his time.
