George V. Elliott

George "Red" Elliott 88 ½ passed away on April 20, 2025, at Wilshire at Lakewood. He was born in Claremore Oklahoma on October 20, 1936 to John and Georgia Elliott. The family later moved to Stockton, Missouri where George graduated from Stockton High School in 1954. After graduation, George proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his military service George moved to Kansas City where he was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service until 1976 and later transitioned into a career as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Georgie Elliott; his sister Norma Heryford, brother Melvin Elliott; spouses Cleo, Skip, Pat; his daughter Tamm and his son William. He is survived by his Daughter Debbie (Roy) Roberts; his Daughter Jeanne Jones. and his Stepson Michael (Teresa) Belsher; his grandchildren Stephen Jones, Brandon (Janeen) Jones, Nikki Haake, Jacie (Colten) Camacho, Hailey Belsher; his Great-grandchildren Tracen Jones, Taryn Jones, Alexius Hedrick, Rayland Ehlers, Easton Haake; several nephews, nieces, cousins as well as friends. Cremation.
