GEORGE DEAN EPPLIN, 67, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 8:16 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence.
He was born to the late George Edward and Mary (nee Schaefer) Epplin on May 30, 1957, in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
George married Cindy Menke on July 8, 1978, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.
He had been a truck driver for Roger Redi-Mix for 45 years.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois, Missouri Bison Association, and Teamsters Local #50. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and taking everyone on "party" tractor rides.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at St. Patrick's Hall, Ruma, Illinois. Memorials can be made in George's memory to Family Choice.
