Mr. George Evans was an elected official in Selma, Alabama, who was the city’s first Black city council president, first Black school board superintendent in Dallas County, and was a two-time mayor of Selma. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Mr. George Evans. May his collections of art and legacy keep his memory alive forever. Thank you for Mr. George Evans' contribution.
