George Allen "Sonny" Evans

George Allen Evans, 84, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Allen J. and Faye (Sagesser) Evans, George lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, service, and passion.
A proud United States Air Force veteran, George went on to build a successful career as a service manager in the automotive industry. His lifelong enthusiasm for cars was matched only by his love of the outdoors. George was known for his quick wit, his warm humor, and his ability to bring joy to every gathering. He lived and loved life wholeheartedly, and those around him felt that spirit in everything he did.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Jay O. Evans, and his sister, Pattee Evans Luckett.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Patricia (Brohm) Evans; his siblings, Judy McWilliams and Andre Evans (Theresa); his sons, Jay Evans and Shawn Tyler Evans; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. George treasured his family deeply, and his legacy lives on through them.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Ratterman Brothers East Louisville in Middletown (40243). A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
