George William Goff

In 1960, George´s mother, Helen Goff - a friend and fellow church member in Benson, MN -advised my husband Neil and I on our move from Benson to St. Paul to check out the good church her son George had found in North St. Paul. We settled there also, and our four children grew up in the same church with George and his family. I know he was a blessing to many. God bless his memory. - Ruth Jaeger

Extending my sympathies to the family... George was my dad's first cousin and a fellow Goff family researcher; he and I often corresponded by email when I was bitten by the genealogy bug back in the early 2000's. I am Alice Goff Esche's granddaughter, and will pass on to my aunts, Rose Henze and Barbara Timms, the news of George's passing. Take care.

I only knew him later in life. In our conversations I became aware of some of his many physical talents. One of them carpentry which truly appreciated. I admired his soft spoken confidence. I believed him to be a true man of his word.
