Mr. George Gray of Toccoa Ga. passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024 at Northeast Ga. Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. He was born on April 13, 1960 in Bowman to the late William Henry Gray and Virginia Mary McCall Gray. He worked as a plant worker with Nampac and enjoyed music, cleaning and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Gray, his parents, his brothers, Gilbert Gray, Henry Gray, Wiley Gray, and Douglas Leroy Williams.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joshua Hayes and daughter Faith Heard Cooper (Valdon Cooper). Siblings, Hilda Teasley, Rosalee Patterson and Lizzie Mae Thomas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Gray's wishes were to be cremated and there will not be a public viewing.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors at 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, Ga.
