George Haymons Obituary
Mr. George Donald Haymons, 85, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Hospice Savannah.
George will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Becky Haymons; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Maria Rahn (Guy), Tammy Rushing (Tommy), and Christy Haymons; grandson, Cody Rahn; great-grandchildren, Cooper Rahn and Kirbi Rahn.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Christine Parker and James Haymons; brother, James "Skeeter" Haymons, and his beloved American Bulldog, Dooley. George served his country in the National Guard, loved racing, and was a talented carpenter.
The memorial service to honor George's life will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
