George Hefner Obituary
George W. Hefner, 90, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, April 28, 2025. Born in Orlando, West Virginia on December 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Theodore and Mary (Sandy) Hefner.
George worked in construction as a concrete finisher and was a member of Webster United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to planting his flowers every summer. George truly loved his family. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Ann (David) Fedrick of Rostraver, Germaine Barb (Andy Krivacic) and Charmaine Ramirez, both of Ohio; granddaughters, Chelsea Lauren (Travis) Rabe of Uniontown and Tomika (Dustin) James; great grandchildren, Paisley Rabe, Devon and Payton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Staley) Hefner.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment, with full Military Honors, will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
