George Hill Sr. Obituary
Mr. George F. Hill Sr., age 79, of Salem, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Hill was born April 10, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of George and Shirley Rone Hill. He was a retired salesperson for Golden Giant and a Navy veteran.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife: Rhonda Doyle Hill. They were married February 19, 1994. He is also survived by sons: George F. Hill Jr. (Pam) of Charlestown, Darryl Hill (Cheryl) of Sellersburg, and Derek Simpson (Sarah) of Franklin, Indiana, daughters: Heather Allen (James) of Mount Dora, Florida, Kristin Huffman (Aaron) of Seymour, Adria Dupin (David) of Pekin, Becky and Jessica, and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10AM-time of service.
