George Clark Hofer was born on June 6, 2024 in Brookings, SD the son of Seth and Leah (Rogness) Hofer. George grew up in Arlington, SD.

George had a true joy for life. He loved putting his shoes on and taking them off as soon as he got in the car. His favorite time of the day was meeting Dad at the door as soon as he got home from work. He was very adamant that the only person to sit on mom's lap was him, no matter what we were doing. He loved running around and chasing his siblings, trying his very best to keep up.

As soon as the music came on George and Chloe loved to dance along. George loved music.

Teddy and George loved pretending to run a small farm with their toy tractors out of the living room.

No snack was ever safe if George was around. Some of his favorites were bananas, applesauce, oranges and any sweets. George was such a happy boy, with a contagious giggle and deep love for his family.

George is survived by his parents, Seth and Leah; his sister and brother, Chloe and Teddy; his grandparents, Clark and Kim Rogness and Darwin and Trina Hofer; his great grandmother, Ronda Arnold; his uncles Cory Rogness, Craig (Abbi) Rogness and Noah Hofer.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Edwin and Josephine Hofer and Rick Arnold.
