Mr. George E. Hoffman

Mr. George E. Hoffman, age 72, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on March 28, 2013. Mr. Hoffman was a retired truck driver, member of Little Flock Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Chester and Anna Hoffman; son, Arthur Hoffman; brother, Chester Hoffman; and sister, Sally Richards. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Hoffman; sons, Claude Hoffman (Lori) and Tim Hoffman; daughter, Doris Asbury; nine grandchildren; brother, Johnny Hoffman (Peggy); and sisters, Sandy Winters (Paul) and Thelma Hoffman. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
