George Richard Jaworski

George Richard Jaworski passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, one month shy of his 68th birthday. He was born on April 20th, 1958 to the late Maria and Pzremyslaw Jaworski in Buffalo, NY. He lived and worked in Buffalo, New York, until moving to Michigan in 2024. He will be missed by his sisters, Christine Jaworski of Buffalo, NY, Ann Jaworski Skonecki (Greg Skonecki) of Ann Arbor, Michigan. George was Uncle (and Godfather) to Matthew, and Sylvia Skonecki. He leaves behind family, Aunt Lorraine Jaworski, and cousins in Buffalo, NY, where services were held.

George played classical piano and the guitar. He had a vast vinyl collection, especially of the Rolling Stones. He was an avid photographer and chronicled family memories. He was a Buffalo Sabres fan, and World Cup soccer enthusiast. We enjoyed watching the winter Olympics together this February. He remained in good spirits throughout his medical journey and made friends along the way, here in Ann Arbor.
