STREETSBORO - George M. Kolar, age 58, of Streetsboro, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
George was born to Audrey Kolar and Stephen Kolar. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle, deeply loved by his family.
In his younger years, George enjoyed playing the drums. Later in life, he found peace and comfort in the quiet serenity of fishing. He faced health challenges during much of his adult life, meeting them with strength and perseverance. He did well, and those who knew him will remember his gentlemanly demeanor and quiet determination. George was always there when his brothers needed him.
George worked for many years at Special Moments Catering, where he remained committed and gave his best, despite life’s challenges. More recently, he worked part-time as an electronics technician, a role he enjoyed and took pride in.
George was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Kolar, his father, Stephen Kolar, and his brothers, Steve Kolar and Robert Kolar.
He is survived by his brother, David Kolar, along with David’s wife, Kanitta, and their son, Luke, and by his sister-in-law, Darlene Kolar.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 5 - 7 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 8894 OH-14, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
