It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George Leddick, born on January 2, 1963, in Bay Shore, New York. George departed this life on November 30, 2025, in Central Islip, New York, at the age of 62.
George was a cherished son of Chester and Florance Leddick, and a beloved brother to his siblings: Edward, Elizabeth Steurrys, Brad, Rene Johnston (Frank), Cheri, and Chester. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will forever hold dear the memories of his laughter and warmth.
Despite his challenges, George lived life with a strong spirit. He had a deep love for family and was known for his joy found in laughter, as well as his passion for football and watching television. His kind heart and gentle demeanor earned him a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate George's life on Friday, December 5th 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Moloney Funeral Home in Central Islip.
George's legacy of love, kindness, and humor will continue to inspire those who were privileged to know him.
