Mark and John,

I am sorry for your loss especially at this time of year. Your dad was a very special person and did a good job keeping you two in line.

He was always a gentlemen, helpful and friendly regardless of the situation and I think of the "old days" often on Commanche Road.

My prayers will be with you during the Christmas season and rest assured God will take good care of your dad.

Hazel - I will always remember George as a warm and energetic person who definitely had a joy for life. His referring to you as his "bride of ____ years" made us all realize what a wonderful, loving relationship the two of you had. He made everyone's years at WWBT more friendly and a lot more fun. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him....friends, family and acquaintances alike. My thoughts are with you and your family.......Love,

Dear Manasco and Heretick families,
My name is Cheri Costanzo. I am Erika Lash's sister, and also aunt Cheri to Ryan Heretick. I met George and Hazel in the summer of 1998 or 1999 (i believe) on the Outer Banks of NC. We shared a wonderful week with George& Hazel, Claudia & Richard and their boys, Bob & Carolyn Lash and their 4 children and grandchildren and. . . let's just say a house full of happy vacationers! This is where George comes in, and I will never forget it. In the most "Southern Gentlemanly" way he ever so politely corrected me in stating that we were all there on "Holiday". I smiled ,and he smiled back and I had an overwhelming sensation that I had just been invited into conversation. I must have spent quite a bit of time locked into conversation with him and Hazel and eventually others because when we began talking, it was mid afternoon. Then (it seemed)in an instant we all were simultaneously being chased indoors by a barrage of pesky mosquitoes and an overwhelming urge for FOOD! And feast we did! And talked for hours. It was a memorable week. And that memory reminds me how lucky we are to have known him, if only for a short time. He truly left an impression on my family. We still recall from time to time how we loved to hear little Ryan address him as Grrannd f a th er! To the entire family and of course to Hazel especially, I wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead. You are a lucky family to have had him as your own beloved George, Husband, father, grandfather, friend and aquantiance. Sincerely, Cheri, Curt, Alex, Kayleigh and Kyra Costanzo from Pennsylvania.

Hazel,
My condolences go out to you on the loss of your husband. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hazel, you may not remember me, but I worked with you in the attendance office at HHS 1974 - 1975 (just after I graduated). May God Bless you and your family.
