George Moore Obituary
Bud was a graduate of Hempfield High School with the Class of 1978 and was employed with Armstrong World Industries.
A time of remembrance for Bud will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 247 Main St, Landisville, PA 17538.
Attendees may drop in during those hours.
George B. "Bud" Moore, III, 65, of Lancaster passed away on January 10, 2026 surrounded by family at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Lancaster to the late George B. Moore, Jr. and Nancy K. (Stauffer) Moore and was a lifelong resident of Lancaster.
Bud was a graduate of Hempfield High School with the Class of 1978 and was employed with Armstrong World Industries from October of 2006 until his time of passing as a Warehouse Supervisor.
Bud is survived by his son Dustin Moore of Leola, step-son Ryan Benham of Lancaster, loving companion Sandy Gainer of Lancaster, a sister Sarah "Sally", married to James S. Miller, Jr. of Lancaster, and two nephews, Justin and Ryan Miller of Lancaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine and Elizabeth Moore.
A time of remembrance for Bud will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 247 Main St, Landisville, PA 17538. Attendees may drop in during those hours.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pennsylvania SPCA Lancaster Center, 848 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
