(Margo) Morton; parents, George Wager Halleck Morton, Sr. and Birdie Mae Myers Morton; sister, Alyse Hallene Morton and brother Leland Clure Morton. Survived by sons and daughters-in law; George Marcus and Wendy Morton of Loudon, TN; James Myers and Melissa Missy Morton, Knoxville, TN; daughter and son-in-law: Primis Anne and Brent Buechler of Temple, GA; Granddaughters: Halle and Maris Morton; Grandsons and wives: Jerald Wager and Kristina, Brandon and Christy and Brett Buechler and Susana Reeves; and great grandchildren, Noah, Killian and Alina.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the G.W. Morton & Birdie Mae Morton Memorial
Scholarship @ Lincoln Memorial University, Cumberland Gap Parkway, Harrogate, TN 37752.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Morton was a pillar of our Church and community. A true gentleman. Heck of an attorney and remember him working with First American Bank, back in the day. What a great family!

Mr. Morton was a giant, and the guidance and respect he showed to my late wife Linda when she first began to practice was a true reflection of his character.
