Mr. George R. Murray

George R. Murray, 88, of Newtown Square, PA and formerly of Springfield, PA passed away on February 16, 2014. Born in 1925 in Philadelphia, George was the son of Augusta (Joley) and George B. Murray, both deceased. George served honorably in the US Army during World War II. He was an internal auditor for Philadelphia Electric Company. George was an avid car enthusiast. He loved Cape May, NJ and its beautiful sunsets. He was predeceased by his first wife, Frances M. Murray. George was the loving husband of Helyn B. (Smith) Murray; loving father of Patricia A. Murray and Marie Eileen Murray; dear brother of the late Robert G. Murray. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-10:50 AM Monday, February 24, 2014 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
