George Panagos Obituary
With great love and sadness, we remember George Panagos, age 91. Born in Megara, Greece, George came to the U.S. at a very young age to support his family after his father fell ill, carrying only a few dollars and a brave heart.
A devoted husband to Elli and loving father to Alexandra and Eleni that he had with his first wife Magdalene, George also cherished his five grandchildren - Athena, Cassandra, Arielle, Kyle, and Jonathan - and nine great-grandchildren.
George was a hardworking man, spending many years as a taxi cab driver and continuing to work into his 80s. A talented musician, he played guitar, drums, and sang, bringing joy to everyone around him. His faith in God and devotion to the Greek Orthodox Church were central to his life, and he now rests peacefully in the Lord's embrace.
George's legacy of love, faith, resilience, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
