George and I were friend's and played CYO baseball for St. Edmonds in Pinardville. When I left for the Army in August 1968, George moved into my parent's home and took over my job at McQuade's. In 1971 when I returned George was married and would visit him especially after the birth of his baby girl. I Reenlisted in September of 1972 and would visit him when home on leave during the holidays, but after many years lost contact. So very sorry to hear of his passing, hope his family will accept my late condolences.

George, I can't remember my life before you were in it and now I can't imagine my life without you in it, Thank you for all the wonderful times at the cabin, apple picking, obscene pumpkin carving, shopping, the great meals and then singing and dancing to the golden oldies all night long. Also, for all the fun trips to Florida and dinners at Sloppy Joes on the beach, Williamsburg, Washington, DC, New York to see The Rockettes and so many more wonderful times. I will treasure every moment and I will love you and miss you until one day after forever.

P.S. I know that it has been about sixty-two years by I wanted to tell you I forgive you for painting my new white skates black so you could wear them and not look like a girl.
