George Patchell Obituary

George Clifton �Clif� Patchell, 63 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Born in Elkton, MD, on January 25, 1947, he was the son of the late Harold Edward Patchell, Sr. and the late Ella Louise (Gibson) Patchell. Mr. Patchell was the beloved husband of Janet Sue Patchell of North East, MD. He retired from working as a Station Attendant on I-95. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include: his daughters: Jill Patchell Leith and her husband Bruce of Elkton, MD, Jennifer Patchell McMillan and her husband Adam of Rising Sun, MD; his siblings: Terry Lee Hash of Charlestown, MD, Norman Patchell of Rising Sun, MD, LuAnn Hall of Quarryville, PA and Lisa Duncan of Felton, DE; his grandchildren: Cori, Jarrett and Josalyn McMillan, Jackson, Raleigh and Macon Leith; and close family friend: David Gray. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Harold Patchell Jr. Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Mary Browne will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. John's United Methodist Church, 240 Market Street, Charlestown, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
