George was born in Cleveland, Ohio and formerly of Somerset for many years. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree at Rutgers University. George was employed as an accountant for the IRS for many years. He also worked for Pinkerton Security. George was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Somerville DAV Chapter #16, the Central Jersey VVA Chapter #233, and Lyons Combat Veterans. George was an ordained Minister of the "Universal Life Church" in Modesto, CA. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, motorcycling, Tai Chi, and was an avid reader. He will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving is his brother William Perry, his cousin Debbie Davis, and two nephews.
A Celebration of life will be 2-4pm, Saturday December 20, 2025 with full military honors at 3:30pm at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville.
