George Pierce

George Pierce , 77, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Birmingham, AL, George worked as a Truck Driver at Erie Haven for 33 years. Surviving are his wife Marylon Pierce of Fort Wayne; daughter, Catherine (Henry) Rice of Fort Wayne; son, Randy Pierce of Decatur; son, Joseph (Elizabeth) Pierce of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Parke of Fort Wayne; son, Ricky Pierce of IA; 14 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his parents George and Gracie May Pierce, and daughter, Tonya Pierce. Service is 1:00 pm, Monday, June 11, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling from 11am - 1pm also on Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
