George Marvin "Buck" Randall

Just became aware of Buck Randall. All of us should be properly proud of and inspired by his brave effort to help stop the awful events of that long violent night in the fall of 1962. God bless him.

Mr.Randall 's heart which is the seed of motivation lead him to do what was right. My condolences to the family may you be comforted by reading Isaiah 61:1,2

We need more men like Mr. Randall to stand up for what's wright. The time will come when all men will be considered equal as they are in the eyes of God. In the mean time the family has my deepest sympathy. May Mr. Randall sleep in peace.

Rafe, Mrs. Randall, Buck Jr, Courtney, and the rest of the Randall Family our family sends our deepest regards and prayers. Rafe being a good friend of mine to me growing up and still had a very supportive father who attended every event that his children including his grandchildren participated at any time and that is exactly what I most remember of Mr. Buck Randall. A soft spoken and supportive father who loved his family and loved the outdoors.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family Rafe... When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

Buck Randall was an assistant football coach on our 1966 Callaway HS team in Jackson. He was a tough guy, but fun. I was 16 and don't remember hearing of his history with the riots in Oxford but am not surprised that he was a brave man. I hope he had a happy and fulfilling life. God rest his soul and bless and console Coach Randall's family.
