George F. Redden, Jr., age 69, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Millsboro, DE. George was born in Chester, PA, and raised in Claymont, DE, where he was a 1974 graduate of Claymont High School. He would then move to Upper Chichester, PA, where he would remain until moving to his home in Ocean View, DE, full-time in 2012. Over the years George held several jobs, most notably he worked on the tiles in the Baltimore Harbor tunnels in the 70's. In the 90's, George started his own landscaping company in Ocean View, DE, J.R. Lawn Concepts, a business he would operate until last year. In his free time, George enjoyed collecting cards and coins, attending card shows with his sons when they were younger. He also liked to golf, watch the news, and gamble, specifically betting on Horse Races at Ocean City Downs.
George was the son of the late George and Agnes Redden, and he was the brother of the late Francis Redden.
Survivors: Children: George Redden (Cathey) and Tim Redden (Heather). Grandchildren: George, Madison, Tim Jr., Robert, Alanna, and Hayleigh. Siblings: William Redden (Gail) and Ira Redden (Vicky).
Visitation: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 10:30am-12:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 12:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
