George Reed Obituary
George Robert "Bob" Reed, 74, of Tellico Village, passed away March 13, 2022.
Bob was an avid fisherman and for a time fished in some professional tournaments. Before he retired, he was a computer specialist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He enjoyed traveling and seeing sites across many countries around the world. Bob was also involved in the Boy Scouts for several years, and he led his troop to Filmont three times and had two Eagle Scout sons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Reed and Sylvia Belle Reed.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Susan Lynn Reed; son, Scott R. Reed (Rebecca) of St. Louis, Mo.; step-sons Jake Yoder (Robin) and Zachary Yoder (Nicole); and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Click Funeral Home & Cremations-Tellico Village chapel with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Fisher House Foundation, 12300 Twinbrook Parkway, Suite 410, Rockville, MD 20852 or to the charity of your choice.
