George Allen Ruesch

George Allen Ruesch was born in Anchorage, Alaska on April 16, 2009. He was killed in a car crash on the Parks highway on October 2, 2025. He was a junior at Redington High School and a member of the World Cubing Association. He lived in Wasilla, AK and had previously lived in Anchorage, AK and Slana, AK.

He loved building and rehabilitating personal computers and his other passion was working on his cars with friends. His favorite subjects in school were computer science and construction trades. He could solve a 3 x 3 Rubick’s cube in 13.5 seconds! George was generous, intelligent, thoughtful, funny, loyal and kind. He loved animals. His dream was to own a 1973 C3 Corvette.

He is survived by his parents, Parke and Krista Ruesch, sister Maya Ruesch. Grandparents: Mark and Debbie Hepworth of Eagle River, AK, Judith and Alden Johnson of Port Townsend, WA. Great Grandmother Marnie Curtis. And many close friends and extended relatives, He is preceded in death by his grandfather Gordon Ruesch of Medford, WI.
