George Sena

George Sena, Sr., age 85, husband of Wanda Sena, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. George was born July 8, 1931 in Garita, NM, to parents Antonio Sena and Andrellita Olguin. He was a well-known business man in the heavy highway and rock crushing industry in the state of New Mexico. George was President of the Riverside Gen Construction Company Inc. of New Mexico, and President of the Riverside Mobile Home Park in Albuquerque.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sena; sons, Tony Sena and wife, Ruby and Steve Sena and wife, Christine; daughter, Annette Jaramillo and husband, Rick; 12 grandchildren, Julie Sena, Ricky Jaramillo, Jr., Tony Sena, Jr., Randy Sena, Kimberly Sena, Stephanie Jaramillo, Steven Sena, Sharon Sena, Krystal Reyes, Mary Sena, Camille Sena, and Brandon Sena; 16 great-grandchildren; and he was also a great-great-grandfather. George also had several brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, George Sena, Jr.,; grandsons, Christopher Sena and Albert Sena.

George was an active member of the Church of the Ascension located on Raymac Road in Albuquerque.

The Rosary will be recited on Friday, November 11, 2016, 7:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd SW. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 12, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Jaramillo, Tony Sena, Randy Sena, Steven Sena, Brandon Sena, Shaw Jaramillo, and Tony D. Sena.
