George Silva

George Silva was born on April 14, 1944, and passed away on December 27, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a proud veteran.

George was married to the love of his life, Myrna, since 1975. Together they built a strong and loving family. He is survived by his two children, Anthony Silva and Lynnette Weldon; his grandchildren, Arthur and Andrew; and several cherished great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard, Evelyn, and Mary Frances.

George proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. Following his service, he worked as an electrician, spending many years employed by General Mills, where he was respected for work ethic.

In his free time, George found great joy in fishing, especially at Beavercreek, which held a special place in his heart. He was a lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He also enjoyed reading action and adventure novels, always eager for a good story.

Those who knew George will remember his playful personality, his warm smile, and his love of teasing those around him. He had a way of bringing laughter into everyday moments and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
