George Sordello Obituary

Devoted son of the late George C. Sordello Sr. and Edna (Scarsciotti) Sordello. Beloved father of George C. Sordello III and his wife Ella of Revere, Michelle Basteri and her late husband Richard of Stoneham, the late Carlene T. Sordello, and Michael Sordello.
Loving grandfather of Chelsey, Carley, Nicholas, Joseph, Christopher, Ashley, and Michael, and proud great-grandfather of Cameron.
George is also survived by his brothers Vincent and Daniel, and his sister Dianne.
He was well known in Everett, where he made a lasting impact as a coach in the Everett Little League for 17 years, and later in the Stoneham Little League for an additional 6 years, coaching his grandchildren Carley, Nicholas, and Joseph.
George was a proud member of Teamsters Local 25 from 1958 to 1996. He was also the husband of Theresa M. (Muollo) Sordello.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Semper Fi & America's Fund in his name at https://thefund.org/donate/.
Services will be private.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Sordello and Basteri families. I enjoyed talking and texting with George, especially about his passion for baseball. All of my acquaintances who knew George had the utmost respect and fondness for him.

Dear Sordillo Family, I am deeply sorry to hear of your Father´s passing. George was very kind and helpful to me and my family when my husband passed. We did stay in touch through the years but one regret my cousin Joanne Chisholm and I never got to go to lunch with George. I´m sure you have wonderful memories you can share. May George rest on Eternal Peace, Love to all Rosanne Sullivan
