I worked with George for several years. He was an amazing teacher within the kitchen and in life. I think of him every time I cook pasta...my water will always taste like the sea. I will cherish the many memories I have of him. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

A very sad day for all of us, that knew and associated with George. I spent much time with George when I lived in Toledo as he was a frequent visitor to my old bachelor pads. He turned me on to the writings of Henry Miller, his and my favorite author. When I moved to Las Vegas, George came to visit and stayed at my place for extended visits. He enjoyed gaming and he & I would participate frequently. I considered George one of my best friends and I will miss our occasional conversations from my California home. Farwell to a fine man that was well respected among his peers. Deepest sympathy to Laura and Arthur !
