George Kenneth Vaught Jr.

February 17, 1951 - October 9, 2023

Arlington, Texas - George Kenneth Vaught Jr., 72, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

George was born on February 17, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to George Kenneth Vaught Sr. and Elsie Davis Vaught. He was a very good athlete. He played baseball in high school and was a Golden Gloves boxer. George served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

George was married to his wife Victoria for 30 years; their wedding anniversary was July 3rd.

George was a hard worker. He worked as a Service Manager for a car dealership. He loved classic cars.

He loved to fish and was an avid sports fan; he loved football. George enjoyed going to casinos. He loved to travel and ride horses. He loved dogs. He enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.

George was very outgoing and friendly. He enjoyed telling a good story. He liked to joke around and make people laugh. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bobby Lee Vaught.

Survivors: Wife, Victoria Lynn Kelly Vaught; son, Jason Vaught; brother, Martin Vaught; sister, Linda Bolton and husband, Darrel; and many nieces and nephews.

Losing George is very hard. Our family has had a lot of loss this year and another part of all our hearts has been taken. He was such a fun, loving, and kind man, father, husband, and my uncle. A great American who served his Country. He always gave his very best. He will be loved & missed everyday.
