George Von Behren Jr Obituary
George Emil Von Behren, 89, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1933 in Peoria, Illinois. The son of George Emil and Stella (Moeller) Von Behren Sr. George married Janice Joanne Daniel on June 7, 1952 in Peoria, Illinois. She preceded him in death on January 28, 2023.
He is survived by two sons Ronald (Raetta) Von Behren of Peoria, Illinois, Curtis “Danny” (Lynette) Von Behren of Bartonville, Illinois; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Debra Sengwald; son Stephen Von Behren; brother Lloyd Von Behren; two sisters Irene Brooks and Eileen Schmitt.
Funeral service will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 at Cumerford-Clary Funeral Home in Peoria, Illinois starting at 4:00pm. Pastor Karl Eckhoff will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm.
