Deacon George Edward Wallace was born in 1938 to the proud parents, Colleen Jones and Alfonso Wallace. He received his education in the Taylor and Austin school systems.

George Edward Wallace faithfully served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army, completing a tour of duty with honor and dedication.

George Wallace was united in holy matrimony to Amy Wallace, and from this loving union two daughters were born. Debra Simmons and Treniece LaFaye Wallace Chambers. Later in life, he married Etta Mae Wallace, they were united in matrimony for over 40 years. Through this blessed union he gained a loving extended family which included devoted step-sons Monroe Thompson (Pat). James Thompson, (Laura), Arthur Ray Grant Sr. (CaSandra) and step-daughter Edna Johnson.

Deacon George Wallace was a devoted servant of God and held a long-standing membership at Emmanuel Bible Church, where he faithfully served as a Deacon for over 50 years. His life was a testimony of commitment, integrity, and unwavering faith.

Deacon George Wallace lived a long and happy life surrounded by those who loved him; family and friends who laughed, cried, and shared life's journey with him. He will always be remembered for his deep love of Western movies, his loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys, and most importantly, his strong faith in God.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his beloved children, step-children, grandchildren Eric D. Jones Sr., Christopher George Wallace, Sr., Edward Lee Duval, Arthur Ray Grant, Jr., Amy Marie Lemuel, Denise Lashone Bell. Aubrey and Ashley Grant along with a host of great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

Deacon George Edward Wallace was a man of integrity, character, and hope. His presence brought strength and wisdom to all who knew him. Though he will be dearly missed, his legacy of faith, love, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

We extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of dearly beloved, Mr. George Wallace.

He truly had a love for God, and always had an encouraging word to share.

We will miss his sweet sweet spirit, but we know Bro.Wallace has a better resting in the heavens above.
