George F. Weida

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to George's family. We knew each other from high school and college. At Kutztown High School, he served as one of my assistant managers of the basketball team. I always knew that I could depend on George. He was kind, considerate, and a very good friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Uncle George will be missed. I remember the time he came out to New Mexico with his RV. We went out to eat and he explored the area.

Lisa and I did many Oley Valley band parades and trips with George. Always dedicated and focused on what needed to be done. Same during our time at GPU/ FE.

I worked with George for a number of years at GPU. While he seemed a tad eccentric, he was very intelligent and dedicated. Like many of us, we became dinosaurs when the new technologies came along. It's comforting that he found his calling with his involvement with so many great organizations. He will be greatly missed.

Karen and I express our deepest condolences to the Weida family on the loss of George. He was great work friend and we both truly enjoyed his companionship.
