George Weinert Obituary
August 7, 1933 - November 20, 2025
George C. Weinert, 92, of Port Orange, FL, formerly of Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. Only child of the late Elmer Weinert and Dorothy Dillon.
George was a proud US Army veteran. He owned a Mobil service station for many years in Glenside, PA. His passions included history, automobiles, music and his Catholic faith. He was a devoted husband, father and friend, and throughout his life always had a dog by his side. He had an open door policy with his neighbors who meant a lot to him in the final years of his life.
George is predeceased by son Russell Weinert and wife Mary Lowe. Survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Weinert and Susan Landis, cousin Margaret Anne Kramer, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Im so sorry that you have lost your dad, grandmpa, etc. George was a special friend, the first to welcome us to the community and that friendship was 18 years long. I always called him the mayor of Forest Lake Preserve. He and Mary befriended everybody with their welcoming spirit. He is terribly missed forever.
