George Wenrich Obituary

George, a son of the late Merlin and Helen (Yoder) Wenrich, was born in Reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Heath A. Wenrich, fiancé of Jen Weller, and Chris L. Wenrich, husband of Brittany; two grandchildren, Evelyn, and Korben Wenrich; three sisters, Linda Cox, Judy Brossman, and Loretta Lavoie; and a step son, Wayne Birch, husband of Sue. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Wenrich.
He was a US Marine Corps Veteran.
George graduated from Conrad Weiser High School in 1966 and retired in 2010 from Sonoco.
He was an active member of the VFW Post 6558, Womelsdorf.
Services will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, Mar. 19th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

George, you have secured your final beachhead. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
