George Winslow

I saw the movie, Mr. Scoutmaster in 1956. It has been one of my favorite movies. George and I were the same age.

My mother would tell me about George, the movies that he was in, and how he was a distant relative...
Sorry to hear about his passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family....

George always had something interesting to say. We enjoyed our time with him.

George, you are surely missed, most remember you as "Foghorn" from your movies, but you are remembered too and missed as an intellectual man, and cate lover. RIP Sir!

Prayers, thoughts & deep condolences to the family, friends & associates of George Winslow. I recently re-watched "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and once again laughed out loud at George's iconic performance. I remember him from his other movies, too. He was a very special child actor. May he rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

As a Cub Scout in Mr. Scoutmaster, with Clifton Webb, his performance encouraged me to pursue Scouting for all three of my sons - who all became Eagle Scouts. My deepest condolences to his family.
