Chester was born on October 31, 1922 and passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Chester was a resident of Tennessee at the time of passing. He graduated from Union High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan before earning his Bachelor's Degree from Calvin College and a Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church, Jefferson City with Reverend Dave Strickler officiating. Graveside interment service will follow the funeral at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
