George Young...you contributed so much of your talent for song writing to the Australian music industry. RIP.

A sad loss to the music industry, his family and all of us who grew up listening to the music and seeing them perform all those years ago. May you rest in peace but there must be one huge rock n' roll heaven up there, so rock on George.

The Easybeats was a Band that inspired me to form a Band at 16 in Melbourne even though they had disbanded 4 years prior George Young was my mentor to become a musician in Melbourne then I toured and played in my own Band The Cadillacs in mid 80s Rest in Peace you will be Sadly Missed Daryl Sussa

George, you helped produce the early AC/DC albums, this music has not ceased to be my all time favourite rock and roll music, period. I love the job you guys did. Very sad to hear you have passed, your accomplishments will surely live on. Rest In Peace Sir.

I've always loved "Friday On My Mind". Within the past few years I've listened to more of The Easybeats catalog and managed to turn on a disc jockey friend of mine to them in the process. Can't begin to explain how thankful I am to George for his guiding hand in helping out brothers Angus and Malcolm who also recently passed away. RIP George and thanks for all the great times and even greater music.
