Georgeann McLaughlin Mitchell

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2006, at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension for Georgeann McLaughlin Mitchell, age 52, who passed away June 21, 2006, at her residence. Rev. Larry G. Wilkes, Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and Rev. Duane Petersen, Associate Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension will officiate at the memorial services. Mrs. Mitchell, daughter of the late James McLaughlin and the former Ann Dunn Foote, was native of Lake Charles, La and resided in Lafayette. Survivors include her husband, Mark D. Mitchell, Sr.; one daughter, Katherine L. Duhon and husband, Nicholas, of Abbeville La; one son, Mark D. Mitchell, Jr. of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Noah N. Duhon, Mark D. Mitchell, III, Spencer Mitchell and Mila Mitchell.; two brothers, James McLaughlin of Austin, Texas and Steve McLaughlin of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Frank Foote.
