Georges Leon LAPLACE

Georges Leon Laplace, 70, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 26, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lorient, St. Bathelemy, FWI to the late Pascale and Selina Laplace, he resided in Plainfield before moving to Piscataway in 1986. Georges was a machine operator for API Foil in Rahway for 36 years before retiring in 2004. He was an avid fisherman and gardener who enjoyed handy work around his house and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed. He was predeceased by four brothers, a sister and a nephew. Surviving are his beloved wife of 41 years, Kathleen Honeychurch Laplace, a daughter, Monica Urash and husband Michael of Piscataway, three step-sons, Ozzie Welby of Piscataway, Ronald Quetel of Clover, SC and Kevin Quetel of Phillipsburg, ten grandchildren , three great-grandchildren, a sister, Christian Berry of Loriet, St. Barthelemy, FWI, several nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law, Vincent Honeychurch of Red Lion, PA.
