Georgetta Vie Guess

Georgetta "GG" Vie Guess age 79, went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was born on March 24, 1946 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to George Carver Roberts Sr. and Margaret (Barkus) Roberts.
She graduated from Wewoka High School with the class of 1965. She married Richmond Guess and to this marriage was 3 children. Georgetta was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK. She was the Queen of the Wewoka Westside Red Hat Society since 2005 and the fry bread queen. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, being outdoors, farming, going to church, and spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Roberts; husband, Richmond Guess; son, Lee Guess; brothers, Dempsey Roberts and Mainard Roberts; and sister, Marva O'Neal.
Georgetta is survived by her children, Lavon King and husband Larry, Richie Guess and wife Stephanie, Greg Guess, Shelby Guess, Richard Davis; 5 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Mildred Bert, Mary Gray and husband Oscar, Milford Roberts and wife Janice, Al Roberts and wife Vonnie, George Roberts, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 3, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor Clarence Prevost officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
