ENGARD, Georgette Eileen - Age 76, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025. Cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 2300 Lapeer Road, Flint, MI 48503.
Georgette was born March 22, 1948 in Detroit, the daughter of George and Susan (Tilger) Biringer. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayne State University. She married Paul Jeffery Engard June 17, 1970 in Detroit. She had resided in Grand Blanc since 1997 coming from Attica Township. Georgette retired from Valeo. She enjoyed camping, reading and traveling.
Surviving are: her husband of 54 years, Paul; daughters, Sarah (Chuck) Wahtola of Parma and Melissa (Robert) Andersson of Sweden; granddaughters, Alison (James) Young of Mt. Pleasant and Jessica Williams of Kalamazoo; sisters, Patricia Biringer of Tennessee, Geraldine Taylor of Northville and Barbara Tackett of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Susan Biringer; and sisters, Susan Biringer and Joyce Biringer. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
