Georgette "Nana" Shadoyan

June 14, 1936 - September 18, 2025

With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Georgette "Nana" Shadoyan, 89, who entered eternal rest on September 18, 2025, reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years, Ohanes, along with her parents, Vergine and Thomas, and her cherished siblings.

Georgette's life was defined by deep wisdom, steadfast faith, and a heart that welcomed all. Her home was a sanctuary of comfort and grace, where her laughter, attentive ear, and hospitality reflected a spirit of unwavering generosity. She embraced every season of life with compassion and devotion, nurturing family and friendships across generations and continents.

A devoted member of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Georgette embodied faith through service.

She is survived by her three children, 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 24, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Armenian Church, Richmond. Interment to be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Armenian Church.
