Georgi Naum Obituary
Georgi grew up in Macedonia where he acquired a love for aviation and crafting model airplanes. He had an appreciation for modern style architecture, paintings, and the beauty of the churches he visited. Georgi also had a passion for photography. Georgi worked as an electrician for General Motors for over 40 years. He was a dedicated worker and often times signed up for triple time shifts to help provide for his family. Georgi was a very present father in his daughter's life and that continued later in life with his grandson. He enjoyed nothing more than a meal with his family that always began with a toast. In his retirement, Georgi loved to travel, especially to Aruba and the Dominican Republic. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Georgi is survived by his loving daughter, Nicole Naum, son-in-law, Adam Signora, and his cherished grandson Logan Signora. Georgi is also survived by his brother and dear friend, Tome Naumovski, his sister-in-law Ilinka Naum, and his nieces and nephews Helen Naum Gill, Julia Naum, Anna Naumovski, Kathleen Kunkel, and Tommy Naumovski Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Kiril Naum, Nick Naum, and his fifth brother, Mitko Naum, affectionately known as the "Little Guy", and his longtime girlfriend and companion Kumud "Kuma" Kothari.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Road, Waterford, Michigan 48327 on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11am. Friends may begin visiting at 10am. Burial will follow in Crescent Hills Cemetery.
Georgi was a generous person that donated to various organizations including National Audubon Society and Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. Please consider donating to either of these organizations or your favorite organization in his honor in lieu of flowers.

I had the privilege of getting to know Georgi through his wonderful daughter Nicole over the past few years. His creativity and joy always shone through, especially in his unforgettable costumes. Though he was a quiet man, his warm smile spoke volumes and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the chance to meet him.
To Nicole, Adam, and Logan, please know that we are holding you close in our hearts during this incredibly difficult time. Our deepest sympathies are with you as you navigate this loss, and we are here to support you in any way we can.

I had the pleasure of meeting Georgi at Nicole & Adam´s house for one of the annual Halloween parties! He specifically wanted some cognac and the mom tribe banded together and made sure a bottle was brought to the party for his delightment. He was one happy man for the night! He never said much, but his smile always said a thousand words. Georgi, you will be missed.
To Nicole, Logan, & Adam, your family in our prayers and we love you guys very much.
The memories you shared together as a family will always be cherished memories you will get to hold for the rest of your lives.

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Georgi through his daughter, Nicole. He would visit every fall and he had the best costumes every year!! Always had everyone laughing as he strolled through dressed in his latest attire for the annual Halloween party. I truly believe he loved being here and seeing Nicole and her family living and enjoying life with all of their friends.
There are no words that convey the magnitude of his passing.
Georgi, you raised a great daughter and you will be missed greatly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Georgi several times at his daughter Nicole´s house. Although a quiet man, he always made a point to say hello and ask me about my day. He will be missed! Our sincere prayers and condolences to the family.

Our deepest condolences from two houses down neighbors. Excellent person. We always will remember the day that he came to the front of the house and approved a garden job we did to the front.
